Säätilanne: valitse Base Time 3.6.2006. Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.

As compared to the previous photo this photo is taken only a bit later in the same day in Hämeenlinna, as the rain had just been stopped; the sky was further blanketed with for example stratus clouds. In the picture there was shed male catkins of White Willow (Salix alba "Sibirica") on a sandy pavement. The trees in the spot are big and a part of the catkins remained yet in the trees with allmost full grown leaves. Typically these catkins are shed during early June in southern Finland. However at this time it should be noticed, that during may due to the sea breeze situations by the southern coast the growing season was now about one week ahead in this place as compared for example with the situation in the district of Tapiola in Espoo, where a lot of pictures of also this blog have been photographed. Therefore there wasn't yet this catkin fallout during this day in Tapiola. Weather condition: choose Base Time 3.6.2006. Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.
