Auringonsäteily vaikutti tummiin pintoihin ja objekteihin jälleen voimakkaasti, kun sää oli lähes selkeä koko päivän. Tässä nähdään, kuinka vielä sulamattomalla lumipinnalla likaiset kohdat (hiekkaa) olivat vajonneet huomattavasti lumen läpi, koska ne olivat lämmenneet ilmaa paljon lämpimämmiksi. The radiation of the sun affected dark surfaces and objects strongly again, as the weather was allmost clear the whole day. In here we see, how on the yet unmelted snowsurface dirty spots (sand) had been sunken signifigantly, because they had been warmed up much warmer than the air. The sun was warming up at this stage allready so much, that for example dark asphalt surfaces had been warmed in the shine of the sun approximately to the temperature of little over +20 C.
