Tässä oli hiekkakäytävän vieressä ollutta nurmikkoa, joka oli paljastunut kuvan yläreunaa kohti sulaneen jäisen lumen alta. Tässä huomataan tyypillinen tämän sulamisvaiheen ilmiö, jossa ihmisten nähdään kulkeneen myös tuota lumen reunaa pitkin. Tämä johtui tässäkin siitä, kun em. käytävä oli vielä hyvin märkä ja siten epämiellyttävä kävellä. Se taas johtui siitä, kun käytävän alla oli vielä jäätä, joka esti sulamisveden imeytymistä. Nurmikko oli tässä vaiheessa paljastuttuaan melko kuolleen näköinen, mutta pian se oli valmiina uuteen kasvuun. Säätilanne: valitse 6.4.2006; Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.

In here beside a sandy path there was a grass, which had been exposed as the icy snow was melting towards the upper side of the photo. In here we notise a typical feature of this melting phase, where we see people walked also along that edge of the snow. This was resulted also here from the fact, that the mentioned path was yet very wet and therefore inconvenient for walking. That was resulted further more of the fact, that under the path there was yet ice, which prevented the water to absorb. The lawn looked rather dead at this stage as it was exposed, but it was soon ready for the new growth. Weather condition: choose 6.4.2006; Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.
