Yllä on kuuden kuvan sarja kuvattuna samana päivänä Espoon Tapiolassa illalla klo. 6.30 ja 7.10 välillä. Kuvat on järjestetty kuitenkin taiteellisten seikkojen mukaan ko. aikavälillä. Lännessä olleen matalapaineen okluusiorintama oli kuvien ottohetkillä juuri ylittänyt kuvauspaikan kuurottaisine sateineen ja pilvipeite oli rakoilemassa. Edellisen kuvasarjan jälkeen tähän sateeseen asti sadetta ei ollut, mutta sää oli lämmennyt sen verran, että 15. päivänä päivälämpötila nousi +9,4 asteeseen. Samassa ajassa melkein joka yö oli vielä pakkasta -3,0 asteeseen asti. Lämpimät päivät olivat kuitenkin sulattaneet jäljellä olleita lumia ja jäätä yhä nopeammin. Tässä kuvassa nähdään lumen alta paljastuneita metsävaahteran (Acer platanoides) lehtiä. Ne olivat jääneet ko. nurmikolle edelliseltä syksyltä ja niiden nähdään mädäntyneen vaihtelevan ruskeiksi ja painuneen talven lumien alla tiiviiksi kerrokseksi. Kuvauspäivän sade oli kastellut ko. pinnan. Kuivuttuaan tämä lehtikerros on kuin yhteen liimattua samaa kerrosta. Säätilanne: valitse Base Time 17.4.2006. Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.

Above there's a six picture series as pictured in the same day in the district of Tapiola in Espoo in the evening between 6.30pm and 7.10pm. However the photos are placed in order according to artistic matters in that time scale. At the time these photos were photographed an occluded front associated with a westerly low pressure had just been crossed the scene with showery rain and clouds were breaking up. After the previous photo series there wasn't precipitation up to this rain, but the weather had been turned warmer in such way, that at the 15th day the afternoon temperature rose to +9,4 C. During the same time allmost every night there was yet frost down to -3,0 C. However the warm days had been melted the remaining snow and ice in yet faster pace. In this picture we see Norway Maple (Acer platanoides) leaves exposed from under the snow. They remained on that lawn since last autumn and we see them got rotten into variable tones of brown and pressed into a thight layer under the snow of the winter. The rain of the photoshooting day had been turned this surface wet. When dried this layer of leaves is like a same layer glued together. Weather condition: choose Base Time 17.4.2006. Wetter3 A.
