Tässä kuvassa asfaltille oli varissut raidan (Salix caprea) hedelmänorkkoja. Melko iso osa norkoista oli edelleen puussa. Kuivassa ja lämpimässä säässä hyvin heikkokin tuuli irrotti ilmaan edelleen runsaasti tyypillistä pajujen valkovillaista siementä myös muista puista. Osa siemenistä ei tyypillisesti ehdi irrota norkoista ennen niiden varisemista. Koska pajut ovat kaksikotisia, niin hedenorkkojen variseminen tapahtui kukinnan loputtua jo toukokuun alussa eri puista. Säätilanne: valitse Base Time 11.6.2006. Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.

In this picture there had been shed fruiting catkins of Goat Willow (Salix caprea) on an asphalt. A rather large part of the catkins were further on the tree. In the dry and warm weather even a very weak wind released further a plentyfull amount of typical white woolly seeds of willows also from other trees. A part of the seeds doesn't have time to loosen from the catkins before they shed. Because willows are dioicous the shedding of male catkins happened allready in early May from other trees as the blooming ended. Weather condition: choose Base Time 11.6.2006.
