Yllä on viiden kuvan sarja kuvattuna samana päivänä Espoon Tapiolassa. Kuvat on laitettu järjestykseen taiteellisten seikkojen mukaan, mutta annettu aikaskaala pitää paikkansa. Edellisen kuvan jälkeen viileä sää jatkui 10. päivään saakka, jolloin päivälämpötilat olivat kolmena päivänä jopa vähän alle +15 astetta. Sää oli koko ajan enimmäkseen pilvistä, jonka ansiosta hallaa ei viileydestä huolimatta ollut. Korkeapaine alkoi vaikuttaa 10. päivänä lännessä ja kuvauspäivänä sen siirtyminen Suomen eteläpuolelle mahdollisti helteisen ilman virtaamisen alueelle. Kuvauspäivänä lämpötila oli ylimmillään jo +22,0 astetta ja eteläisen Suomen sisämaassa jopa enemmän kuin +25 astetta. Tähän saakka hitaasti edennyt kasvukausi aloitti siten hurjan etenemisen. Näissä kuvissa nähdään joitakin kasvuun liittyneitä tilanteita ko. hetkellä. Tässä kuvassa oli tyypillinen tilanne metsävaahteran (Acer platanoides) kohdalla. Siinä puolikokoisia hedelmiä oli varissut tässä tapauksessa asfaltille. Tummimmat ja pienimmät olivat varisseet ensimmäisinä. Kyseessä on tarkemmin sanottuna lajike verivaahtera (Acer platanoides "Schwedleri"), jonka takia nuo hedelmät ovat punertavia. Metsävaahteran ja sen lajikkeiden heikosti hedelmöittyneet hedelmät varisevat keskimäärin näihin aikoihin ennen kuin ne ovat kasvaneet täyteen kokoon. Säätilanne: valitse Base Time 11.6.2006. Above there is a five picture series photographed during the same day in the district of Tapiola in Espoo. The photos are placed in order according to artistic matters, but the given time scale holds true. Since the previous picture a cool weather continued to the 10th day, where the afternoon temperatures were during three days even a little under +15 C. The weather was all the time mainly cloudy, which didn't cause ground frost despite the coolness. A high pressure started to affect in the west at the 10th day and in the photoshooting day the moving of it to the southern side of Finland made a hot air possible to stream into the area. In the photoshooting day the maximum temperature was allready +22,0 C and in the inland areas of southern Finland even more than +25 C. Therefore up to this point slowly progressed growing season started furious advancing. In these pictures we see some situations associated with the growing at this moment. In this picture there was a typical condition concerning Norway Maple (Acer platanoides). In there half sized fruits had been shed in this case on an asphalt. The darkest and the smallest ones had been shed the first. To be more precise in question here is the cultivar Schwedler Norway Maple (Acer platanoides "Schwedleri"), which causes those fruits to be reddish. Norway Maple's and all its cultivar's poorly pollinated fruits shed on an average around this time before they have been grown in full size. Weather condition: choose Base Time 11.6.2006. Wetter3 A.
