Nyt Suomen ylle ja sen itäpuolelle oli vahvistunut korkeapaine, jonka myötä heikot etelä- ja kaakkoistuulet vallitsivat. Tämän ansiosta sää oli lämpenemässä päivä päivältä ja kuvauspäivänä ylin lämpötila oli +13,3 astetta. Kuvauspaikalla vaikutti kuitenkin ajoittain kohtalainen merituuli, jonka vuoksi Etelä-Suomen sisämaassa oli em. lukemaa muutaman asteen verran lämpimämpää. Kuvassa nähdään sulamisesta ja vesisateista yhä edelleen jäänyttä lammikkoa nurmikolla, vaikka routa oli jo käytännössä sulanut ko. kohdalla. Veden pinta oli silti laskenut huomattavasti myös lisääntyneen haihtumisen vuoksi. Veden pinnalla oli säilynyt sulamisesta muodostunutta vaahtoa, jota tuuli oli kuljettanut lammikon reunalle. Juuri alkamassa olleen kasvukauden myötä siitepölyt olivat jo lisääntyneet ilmassa ja kaduilta - teiltä tuli myös liukkauden torjuntaan käytetyn hiekan pölyä kuivasta säästä johtuen. Niiden laskeuma värjäsi jonkin verran tuota vaahtoa ruskeaan ja keltaiseen suuntaan. Kuva on otettu ilta-auringon paistaessa untuvapilvikerroksen läpi Espoon Tapiolassa. Now a high pressure had been strengthened over and to the eastern side of Finland, which resulted weakly prevailing south and southeasterly winds. Due to this the weather was warming up day by day and in the photoshooting day the maximum temperature was +13,3 C. In the photoshooting scene the occasionally moderate sea breeze affected and due to that there were couple of degrees warmer in the inland areas of souhern Finland than the mentioned reading. In the picture we see a puddle on a lawn still remained from the melting waters and rains, allthough the soil frost had been melted practically completely form that spot. The level of the water had been lowered signifigantly though also due to a increased amount of the evaporation of the water. On the surface of the water there had been remained foam formed due to the melting, which the winds had been transported to the shore of the puddle. Due to the just beginning growing season pollens had been increased allready in the air and dust from the sand used for the prevention of slipperyness was also coming from the streets and roads because of the dry weather. The fallout of them coloured that foam a bit into brown and yellow direction.
