Helle oli tässä vaiheessa alkanut uudestaan, kun korkeapaine muotoutui uudestaan eteläisen Suomen ylle ja sen etelä - kaakkoispuolelle. Lämpötila oli eteläisen Suomen sisämaassa tänä päivänä jo paikoin +30 asteen tienoilla. Sateeton ja täysin aurinkoinen sää jatkui. Lämpimistä säistä johtuen kasvukausi eteni nopeasti niillä kasvupaikoilla, joilla kuivuus ei ollut vielä hidastanut kasvua tukahduttamalla sitä. Parhaimmillaan kasvukauden etumatka tavanomaiseen oli jo n. kaksi viikkoa. Tämä yllä oleva kolmen kuvan sarja on kuvattu Helsingin Kaisaniemen kasvitieteellisessä puutarhassa ja siinä nähdään esimerkit kasvukauden vaiheesta maan pinnassa. Tässä kuvassa oli isopoppelin (Populus x generosa) siemenlaskeumaa rikkaruohoisen mulloksen päällä. Ko. poppeli on Suomessa viljellyistä poppeleista viimeisiä siementäjiä. Nyt sen siemenet olivat lentäneet poikkeuksellisesti pääosin jo kesäkuun puolella ja puussa oli siemeniä vain vähän jäljellä. Säätilanne: valitse Base Time 6.7.2006. Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.

The heatwave had been started again at this stage, as a high pressure formed again over southern Finland and to the southern - southeastern side of it. The temperature was in the inland areas of southern Finland allready around +30 C locally during this day. A rainless and completely sunny weather continued. Due to the warm weather the growing season progressed fast in those localitys, where the drought hadn't yet been slowed down the growth as suffocating it. At the best the advance of the growing season as compared to the average was allready about two weeks. This series of three pictures is taken in the botanical garden of Kaisaniemi in Helsinki and in there we see the examples of the growing season's stage on the surface of the ground. In this picture there was seed fallout of Poplar cultivar (Populus x generosa) on a weedy soil. Among cultivated Poplars in Finland this Poplar is one of the last ones to seed. Now its seeds had been flown mostly during june allready and there were only little left of the seeds on the tree. Weather condition: choose Base Time 6.7.2006. Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.
