Tämä kuva muistuttaa 3. tätä kuuta otettua kuvaa. Tässäkin oli varisseita metsämännyn (Pinus sylvestris) hedekukintoja, mutta tällä kertaa hiekkaväylän päällä. Vertaamalla tätä ja aikaisempaa mainittua kuvaa voidaan havaita myös väriero noissa kukinnoissa eri kuvien kesken. Tässä kuvassa ollut tummempi sävy johtui auringon vaikutuksesta ko. ajan aikana. Aurinkoahan riitti heinäkuun alussa hyvin paljon. Osasyy värieroon voi tosin olla myös yksilökohtainen, sillä eri metsämänty-yksilöillä hedekukintojen ruskeissa sävyissä on jo puussa ollessaan hieman eroja. Kuva on otettu Espoon Tapiolassa. This picture resembles the picture taken at the 3rd of this month. In here also there was shed male inflorescences of Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris), but on a sandy path this time. When comparing this and the mentioned earlier picture we can observe also difference of the colour in those inflorescences between the pictures. The darker colour that appeared in this picture was resulted by the affection of the sun during the time in question. There do was very much sun in early July. A partial reason to the difference of the colour may also be individual, because among different Scots Pine individuals there are slight differences in brown colours of male inflorescences as they are allready on the trees.
