Tässä vaiheessa Suomen eteläpuolelle asettui matalapaine ja päivän sää oli runsaspilvinen, mutta sadetta ei juuri tullut etelärannikolle; ainoastaan paikallisia hyvin vähäisiä kuuroja. Ilmamassa oli kuitenkin lämpenemässä ja pilvistä huolimatta ko. päivän ylin lukema oli +22,5 astetta. Yllä on kolmen kuvan sarja kuvattuna ko. päivänä Espoon Tapiolassa. Kuvat on asetettu edellisen kuvasarjan tapaan järjestykseen taiteellisten seikkojen mukaan, mutta aikaskaala pitää paikkansa. Siinä on esillä lisää nurmikoiden tilanteita yhä vallinneessa pahassa kuivuudessa. Tässä alimmassa kuvassa ruskeaksi kuivuneella nurmikolla oli varisseita rauduskoivun (Betula pendula) lehtiä. Ne olivat varisseet juuri kuivuuden takia keski-ikäisistä puista. Tämä paikka oli kuitenkin sen verran alava ja savinen, että suurin osa lehdistä oli edelleen vihreinä puissa. Noiden lehtien erot ulkonäössä paljastivat varisemista tapahtuneen jo parin - kolmen viikon ajan; ruskeat varisivat ensin ja keltaiset aikaisintaan viime vuorokauden sisällä. At this stage there settled a low pressure in the southern side of Finland and the day's weather was cloudy in a plentyfull way, but there hardly didn't come any rain by the southern coast; only very minor local showers. However the air mass was warming up and despite the clouds the maximum reading of the day was +22,5 C. There is a three picture series above as photographed in the district of Tapiola in Espoo. The pictures are placed in order according to artistic matters as were the case in the previous photo series, but the time scale holds true. In it there's more situations of lawns during the further prevailed bad drought. In this lowest picture there was shed Silver Birch (Betula pendula) leaves on a lawn dried up brown. They had been shed just due to the drought from middle aged trees. However this place was low and clay filled in such a way, that most of the leaves were yet green on the trees. Those differences in the appearance of the leaves revealed, that the shedding was ongoing for allready two to three weeks; the brown ones were shed the first and the yellow ones in the space of the last day at the earliest.
