Helleaalto jatkui edelleen tässä vaiheessa ja tämän 8 kuvan sarjan kuvauspaikalla Espoon Tapiolassakin oli kunnolla lämmintä; ylin lukema alueella oli +27,6 astetta, mutta heikon tuulen ja selkeän sään vuoksi yön alin oli +10,5 astetta. Sisämaassa oli paikoin n. +30 astetta iltapäivällä. Hellettä piti yllä tässä vaiheessa Suomen kaakkoispuolelle muodostunut pieni korkeapaine ja lounaisvirtaus Norjan länsireunalla olleiden matalapaineiden ansiosta. Yllä olevat kuvat on sijoitettu taiteellisten seikkojen mukaan järjestykseen, mutta kuvauksen aikaskaala pitää paikkansa. Kuvasarjassa on erilaisia puiden kasvinosien varisemistilanteita, jotka ilmenivät tilanteen helteessä voimakkaasti kasvukauden edettyä nopeasti; etumatka tavanomaiseen oli nyt n. viikko. Tässä kuvassa oli hopeapoppelin (Populus alba) valkovillaista siemenlaskeumaa asfaltilla ja seassa oli myös ko. hedelmänorkkoja. Tämä laskeuma oli tapahtunut vähän myöhemmin kuin aikaisemmin esiteltyjen haavan (Populus tremula) ja raidan (Salix caprea) siemen- ja hedelmänorkkolaskeumat. Tuo suuri siementen määrä kuvassa johtui ensinnäkin isosta puusta ja toisaalta tämän lajin norkkoihin jää usein paljon siementä kiinni niiden varistua. The heatwave continued further at this stage and also in the photoshooting scene of this series of 8 photos in the district of Tapiola in Espoo there were properly warm; the maximum reading in this area was +27,6 C, but due to calm winds and a clear weather the minimum temperature of the night was +10,5 C. In the inland areas there was locally about +30 C during the afternoon. The heatwave was maintained at this stage by a small high pressure formed in the southeastern side of Finland and by a southwesterly air flow due low pressures at the western edge of Norway. The pictures above are placed in order according to artistic matters, but the time scale of the photoshoot holds true. In the picture series there are different fallout situations of the tree's shed plant parts, which appeared strongly in the situation's heatwave as the growing season progressed in a fast pace; the advance to the average was now about a one week. In this picture there was white woolly seed fallout of White Poplar (Populus alba) on an asphalt and the fruiting catkins in question were also present amongst there. This fallout had been happened a little later than the seed and fruiting catkin fallouts of European Aspen (Populus tremula) and Goat Willow (Salix caprea) shown earlier. That large amount of seed in the picture was a result of a big tree on one hand and on the other hand there remains many times a lot of seed entact on the fruiting catkins of this species as they are shed.
